Job Description

The Senior Power Supply Design Engineer will be responsible for the design
and development of DC-DC converters for high reliability military, aerospace
and satellite applications.

The successful candidate will possess an extensive knowledge of current power
supply design techniques, including soft switching, synchronous rectification,
stability analysis, EMI filter design, and magnetics design along with
excellent project management and hands-on lab skills. Responsibilities include
new product development and customer application support. Duties include
performing trade-off studies, topology and component selection, detailed
electrical circuit design and troubleshooting, EMC design, worst case analysis,
and overseeing PCB layout and design verification.

Desired Skills
& Experience

• BSEE in Electrical Engineering, MSEE preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years switching power supply design experience.
• Extensive knowledge of high frequency switching power supply topologies and analog electronics.
• Thorough understanding of magnetics and control loop design.
• Experience in computer simulation switching topologies and analog circuitry with
       PSpice, Simplis or equivalent.
• Familiarity with PCB layout, with attention to noise and EMC concerns.
• Knowledge of embedded micro-controller design and programming a plus.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects and as part of a team.
